During a recent interview Steven Spielberg confirmed that in 2004, he will direct Harrison Ford as adventurer/archaeologist 'Indiana Jones' in "INDIANA JONES IV". The new script has been written AND approved by Ford, as well as "INDY IV" Executive Producer George Lucas.
"I'd like to get Karen Allen back for one soundbite," says Spielberg, "and there are other Indy girls who had smaller roles who will come back."
As for Kate Capshaw's return " ... maybe or maybe not ... Frank Darabont, who is writing the script, called me and said, 'I'm not sure we can work her into the script ... Sean Connery as Indy's pop will be back for a few scenes, and it's set in the early '50s. That's all I'm saying, and I've already said too much."
